Board member nominations

MMNP has multiple board openings starting this summer. You are open to nominate yourself, or a fellow colleague. Benefits of being a board member include: direct participation in executive decisions of the organization, networking opportunities, professional development, option for attending national conferences, and CME credit for recertification.
Current openings to be filled include
1. President
2. President elect (currently vacant)
3. Secretary
4. Treasurer
5. Program chair
6. CE committee (2 seats).
The nomination period will start May 1 running to June 30.
It is important these roles are filled.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY and Hope you enjoyed Nurses Week. As was previously posted, we have multiple board positions open. The nomination period has started and goes from May 1st-June 30th. Nominate yourself or a colleague/friend.
MMNP is looking for new board members who can bring fresh and exciting ideas to the organization. Have you ever wanted to volunteer but weren't sure how to go about it? This is a great opportunity to give back. Many of our current board members have gone beyond their terms. It is vitally important that we have volunteers like you to keep this organization going. This is a great way for you to make a difference and have a voice at the local level. Benefits of being a board member include: Having an influence on what the group can offer its members, 2 board members are eligible to attend the national AANP conference/fee waived (offered annually since MMNP is an organizational member of AANP), receive 75 continuing education credits per year valid towards recertification, leadership always looks good on your resume, plus many more.
Open positions: President, President elect (currently vacant), Secretary, Treasurer, Program Chair, and CE Committee (2 seats). Announced at Annual Dinner in August. Role: Start shortly after. Board members willing to answer questions and orient for a smooth transition.
