Student Scholarship competition

Metro Milwaukee Nurse Practitioner - Essay Scholarship Competition.

For many years, we have been supporting our MMNP members who are furthering their education. The essays have brought wonderful insight to student perspective of the nurse practitioner role. We are excited to annouce this annual event.

As an organization, we encourage all current NP students to apply. If you are an educator or preceptor, please encourage your students to join and particpate.  There will be 3 winning essays to be chosen by the board after review. 

Application Requirements:

1. You must be a current nurse practitioner student (MSN or DNP) and a current MMNP member in good standing to apply for the scholarship. If you are not a current member, you may join MMNP by logging onto our website (http://metromilwaukeenp.enpnetwork.com/) and applying online by going to the membership tab. The cost for MMNP membership is $35/ year.

2. Submit a 500 word essay describing your most meaningful achievements and how they relate to your future goals as a Nurse Practitioner.  The final date for submission is midnight on November 5, 2013.

All entries will be blinded, reviewed, and voted on by the board and scholarship recipients will be contacted directly and announced on the MMNP website by December 1, 2014. Student scholarship winners will receive a $500 gift card.
