Please Welcome our Newest Board Member: Rosalyn Robinson DNP, APNP, FNP-BC, RN.

Rosalyn was interested in the President Elect or Program Chair position. After much discussion, Rosalyn has decided to fill the Program Chair position for the 2013-2014 term, learn the ropes, and may then pursue the role of President. Rosalyn has been a Registered Nurse for ten years and a Board Certfied Family Nurse Practitioner for five years. She obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Degree in 2011 from Concordia University Wisconsin. Her clinical experience as a Registered Nurse includes: Emergency Room, Med./Surg., and Cardiac. As an FNP, she had clinical experiences in Primary Care, Occupational Medicine, Retail Clinic Setting, and Managed Care Organizations. She presented poster presentations at AANP National Conferences, as well as, a 6 minute podium presentation. She also published a CME article on the Early Identification of Pancreatic Cancer in Clinician Review, a peer-reviewed journal. Strengths: Willingness to accept challenges, Committment to the NP profession. 

FYI: Since there weren't any other MMNP members interested in running for a board position this year, an election wasn't deem necessary.

I would also like to Thank Rachel Hansen, the current Program Chair, for her hard work, dedication, and committment to MMNP over the past two years. Amongst the multitude of events/programs Rachel organizes and plans, she has also been working very hard on our Annual Dinner which will be held on August 5th. We hope you will be able to join us.
