For those members who aren't members of WNA please see below for an update about the APRN Modernization Act. We do have a hearing date set and WNA is planning a webinar to provide information.
The APRN Modernization Act is gaining momentum in the State Legislature. There is a public hearing scheduled for SB 145 on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
The purpose of this webinar is to:
- Describe the contents in SB 145 that address the education, accreditation, certification, and practice requirements for APRN licensure in Wisconsin.
- Explain the language that is to be added from the last legislative session, including Governor Evers proposed wording.

Provide guidelines for the WNA and WIACNS Call to Action Campaign and what is needed from you and your APRN colleagues in advancing this legislation.
