Location: A city located in the south-central part of Michigan. It plays an important role in the region both historically and economically. This city is situated about 40 miles west of Detroit and 30 miles north of the state line with Ohio.

Facility: A 475-bed community hospital that has been serving south-central Michigan that offers comprehensive medical services, including inpatient and outpatient care.

Opportunity:

• Looking for an APP Cardiovascular Surgeon to fill their need!
• Dates of Coverage: June through December of 2025, potentially longer depending on recruitment and training for new hires.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, nights/day combination. 24 hours shift available if interested.
• No call!
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based. CVICU
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: Daily census of 9
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• Level II Trauma Center
• APP be Working Autonomously: Yes
• Supervising Physician Present During Assignment: Yes, for day shift, by phone for night shift.
• Patient Age Demographic: Adult 18 and older
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days
• Required Duties/Procedures:

• Placement of Central Venous and Dialysis Catheters
• Placement of Arterial Lines and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
• Chest Tube Insertions Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.
