Presenter bio:
Jacqi Kernaghan is a certified PA and distinguished fellow of the American Academy of PAs. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (summa cum laude) and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia University (now Jefferson University). She works at the Main Line Health Osteoporosis Center. Jacqi has been working in bone health for over a decade, with focuses on osteoporosis and rare metabolic bone diseases. She is a member of the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation, of which she is on the Ambassadors Leadership Council, as well as the Pennsylvania Society of PAs and the American Academy of PAs, where she has been actively volunteering for the profession for nearly 20 years. She was honored with the America’s Top PA in Bone Health award in October 2023. Jacqi loves educating her patients, both women and men, about the disease of osteoporosis and rare metabolic bone diseases like hypophosphatasia. She loves enabling her patients to succeed and reduce their risk of suffering broken bones. When not in the office, she enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with her husband and two boys.
